Silver Challenge Coin

One of the challenge coins we will be doing will be a 1oz pure silver coin. The final design that was voted on is shown below . If you are interested and did not vote, you can still participate (see email or Facebook for details).

Silver Coin Timeline:

• September 2020: Silver Challenge Coin project announced

• February 25th: Vote on the final design, ends Mar 26th.

• March 27th - April 5th: Collect payments (see email or Facebook for details)

• April 5th: Submit payment in full to selected mint.

  • 4/6/21: 160 coins purchased (25 more than initially needed); 4 coins still available

  • 4/7/21: Artwork submitted; waiting for mock-ups

• May 5th: Approve proof and samples

  • Start Production

• June/July: Target the delivery of the coins. The coins will be hand delivered to each class member at a designated location the first day of Homecoming at The Citadel or other class sponsored venue.
